We currently accept students from 4 and up. Classes are grouped to ensure safe, age-appropriate training. Please contact us to discuss individual circumstances.

Not at all. Most students join with no prior experience. We have beginners, intermediates, and advanced athletes, all training together in a supportive environment.

Comfortable sports clothing and a water bottle. A dobok (uniform) is not required for the first few sessions.

All members must hold a valid British Taekwondo membership licence for insurance and competition eligibility. We will help you with the process.

Yes. Members who show interest and readiness can progress to our competition pathway. NeoDo Academy offers a unique opportunity to its elite athletes providing a systematic, data-driven development and performance tracking using scientific approaches. Parents will be informed before any athlete are eligible to enters events.

Yes. Safety is our priority. We follow strict British Taekwondo safeguarding and coaching standards.

All injuries are recorded using our Accident Report Form.

NeoDo Taekwondo is led by two co-founders:

Both are licensed and qualified under British Taekwondo. Please visit our home page for more details about our directors.

Yes — parents are welcome to observe.

However, we ask that parents do not coach from the sidelines or interrupt training.

Beginners only need sports clothes and water.

As members progress, they will need:

• dobok

• belt

• protective gear (headguard, gloves, shin guards, etc.)

We can advise on approved equipment.

Gradings are held several times a year.

Eligibility is based on:

• attendance

• progression

• technical ability

• coach recommendation

Please inform the coach before training. We will take appropriate precautions and record any relevant information confidentially.

We take safeguarding very seriously. Once you register we will provide you the details of our Safeguarding policies, procedures and the contact details of our Welfare Officer.

We follow British Taekwondo’s safeguarding procedures.

Speak to the Head Coach or Director first. If the issue is unresolved, we have a Complaints Procedure in place. Safeguarding concerns should go directly to the Welfare Officer.

We normally run year-round with short breaks. Any schedule changes will be communicated in advance.
